TLCC Hosts the First Turkish–Lithuanian Business Forum 2025

Vilnius, Lithuania — 07.10.2025

The Turkish Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce (TLCC) proudly organized the first-ever Turkish–Lithuanian Business Forum in Vilnius, bringing together leading entrepreneurs, industry representatives, and government officials from both Türkiye and Lithuania for a day full of energy, ideas, and meaningful collaborations.

Keynote Speakers

The event began with inspiring keynote speeches from:

  • H.E. Ms. Esra Toplu, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Lithuania

  • Tobias Kohler, Managing Partner, Rödl & Partner Lithuania

  • Sarp Demiray, President of TLCC & CEO of European Merchant Bank

Expert Presentations

Expert speakers shared valuable insights on:

  • The legal and tax environments of both Türkiye and Lithuania

  • Business and migration frameworks supporting international growth

  • Lithuania’s incentive ecosystem for foreign investors

Panel: Success Stories of Turkish Entrepreneurs in Lithuania

One of the highlights of the forum was the panel discussion “Success Stories of Turkish Entrepreneurs in Lithuania”, moderated by Gökhan Karaca, Commercial Counsellor of the Turkish Embassy in Vilnius.
The panel featured inspiring stories from:

  • Fırat Akın (Sampa Lithuania)

  • Yasin Toka (Ford Trucks)

  • Sarp Demiray (European Merchant Bank)

These success stories illustrated how Turkish companies are thriving and expanding in Lithuania, strengthening economic ties between the two countries.

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing with LATIA

A significant milestone of the day was the official signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between TLCC and LATIA (Lietuvos Aprangos ir Tekstilės Įmonių Asociacija – Lithuanian Apparel and Textile Industry Association).
This partnership marks the beginning of a new stage of cooperation between Türkiye’s world-leading textile sector and Lithuania’s growing apparel and manufacturing industries.
