Vilnius, Lithuania – The Turkish–Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce (TLCC) hosted a heartfelt farewell dinner in honor of H.E. Mr. Görkem Barış Tantekin, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Republic of Lithuania, who has been appointed as Türkiye’s next Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium.
A Night of Appreciation and Reflection
The evening was filled with warmth, gratitude, and shared memories as the TLCC and distinguished guests came together to express their appreciation for Ambassador Tantekin’s outstanding service and dedication to Turkish–Lithuanian relations.
During his tenure in Lithuania, Ambassador Tantekin played a pivotal role in promoting economic diplomacy, strengthening bilateral ties, and supporting the Turkish business community. Notably, he has been a steadfast advocate of TLCC since its inception, offering his unwavering encouragement and guidance during the Chamber’s establishment and continued development.
Honoring a Diplomatic Legacy
“Ambassador Tantekin’s contribution to the advancement of Turkish–Lithuanian economic and diplomatic relations has been nothing short of remarkable,”
said the TLCC Board.
