Turkish–Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce Blends Business, Culture, and Jazz at Klaipėda Festival

Klaipėda, Lithuania – The Turkish–Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce (TLCC) continues to redefine the boundaries of economic diplomacy by fusing business with culture and creativity. In a powerful expression of this vision, TLCC proudly took the stage at the renowned Klaipėda Jazz Festival with a one-of-a-kind performance by its very own music band: “Board Members.”

Where Business Meets Culture

Formed by members of the TLCC Board of Directors and close partners — Uğurcan Özver, Selim Emre Özkan, Anıl Güler, and Fırat Akın — the band represents TLCC’s unique commitment to building bridges not only between companies, but between communities, art, and diplomacy.

Their performance at one of Lithuania’s most celebrated music festivals was a powerful reminder that business thrives in harmony with culture.

Esteemed Guests Join in Celebration

The evening was elevated by the presence of:

  • H.E. Görkem Barış Tantekin, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Lithuania, who honored the event with his attendance and support.

  • Mr. Vytautas Grubliauskas, Member of the Lithuanian Parliament and Chair of the Lithuania–Türkiye Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group — also an accomplished jazz musician — who joined the band on stage.

  • Ms. Anna Sharifa, celebrated jazz singer and vocal coach, who added a memorable touch of soul and elegance to the performance.

Their collaboration on stage turned a business gathering into a moment of cultural diplomacy, leaving the audience inspired and connected across borders.

A Chamber Beyond Commerce

“At TLCC, we believe business should not be confined to boardrooms. True connection happens when we share our passions, cultures, and stories. This performance was a celebration of the friendship between Türkiye and Lithuania — through music,”
said the TLCC Board.

By embracing the arts alongside commerce, TLCC is creating a model of engagement that transcends transactions and nurtures long-lasting relationships.

Stay tuned for more performances and cultural projects from “Board Members” — because at TLCC, great things happen when business and art meet.
